Delete your Invoxa account

Invoxa is a billing and invoicing platform for small businesses, operated at invoxa.co. Use this page to request permanent deletion of your Invoxa account and its associated data. You do not need to install or reinstall the mobile app to submit a request.

Request account deletion

To submit a deletion request online, sign in to your Invoxa account. This confirms the account is yours — we cannot accept an unverified request, because that would let anyone start a deletion against your email.

Can’t sign in? Email support@invoxa.co from your registered address and we will verify you manually.

1. Who can request deletion

There are two kinds of Invoxa account, and deletion works differently for each:

  • Business owner accounts. Created either by registering in the Invoxa mobile application or by signing up on the Invoxa web platform. The owner holds the business and its records.
  • Staff accounts. Created by a business owner or administrator for their team members. A staff member has access to a business but does not own it.

You can only request deletion of your own account. We will not act on a request made on someone else’s behalf.

2. Business owner account deletion

Deleting an owner account takes the business offline. Its shop record, staff assignments and any active subscriptions are deactivated, and the personal details on the account are removed.

Business records created by the shop — bills, invoices and payment records — are retained, with personal identifiers removed. See section 7.

If your business has other staff members, their access ends too. Their individual accounts are not deleted, but they will no longer be able to work in your business. Please tell your team before you request deletion.

3. Staff account deletion

Deleting a staff account removes that person’s access to any business they were assigned to. It does not delete the business, its products, its customers or its billing history — all of that belongs to the business owner and is unaffected.

If you only want to leave a business rather than delete your Invoxa account, ask the business owner to remove your access instead. That is immediate and reversible.

4. How to request deletion
  • On this page — sign in and use the form at the top. No app install required.
  • From the mobile app — open More → Delete Account and confirm.
  • By email — write to support@invoxa.co from the email address registered on your account, including your registered mobile number and business name so we can verify you. Use this if you cannot sign in.
  • Staff members may also ask their business owner or administrator, who can remove access immediately.
5. What happens after you submit a request
  1. Your request is recorded and enters a 14-day grace period.
  2. Your account keeps working normally during those 14 days.
  3. Signing in again cancels the request automatically. This is deliberate — it means an accidental request, or one made under pressure, can be undone simply by using your account again. If you still want your account deleted, do not sign in.
  4. After the grace period, our team verifies the request and completes the deletion.

Signing in does not cancel your request. A pending request stays pending until you cancel it yourself — using the button at the top of this page, or from More → Delete Account in the mobile app — or until we complete it.

6. Verification

Requests made in the mobile app are already authenticated by your signed-in session, so no further verification is required. Requests made by email must come from the registered email address; if they do not, we will ask you to confirm ownership before acting. We never action a deletion request that we cannot tie to the account holder.

7. What is deleted and what is retained

Permanently removed:

  • Your name, email address and mobile number
  • Your password and mobile PIN
  • Active login sessions and mobile app tokens
  • Business name, address, phone number and UPI ID on any shop you own

Deactivated:

  • Your account and any shop you own
  • Web and mobile app subscriptions (cancellation does not automatically create a refund; refunds follow our refund policy)
  • Staff assignments held by or granted through your account

Retained, with personal identifiers removed:

  • Bills and invoices issued by the business
  • Payment records and subscription receipts
  • Products, categories and customer records belonging to the business

These are kept because they are business and financial records required for tax, accounting, audit, fraud-prevention and legal-compliance purposes. They are stored securely and used only to meet those obligations. Retention periods follow the law applicable to the business.

8. How long it takes

A 14-day grace period, then verification and completion. Requests are fully processed within 30 days of submission.
